Questions
Who are the reviewers?
Members with the Expert Reviewer badge: investment professionals whose venture experience we verify with documents. They're independent contractors paid through Stripe Connect.
Who can see my materials?
Only your assigned reviewer and the RUV Labs staff who run the service. Reviewers must keep them confidential, can't share them with AI services that retain data, and must delete local copies after delivery.
What if the reviewer has a conflict of interest?
Reviewers must disclose investments in, or roles at, your company or a direct competitor before starting. If they have a conflict, we reassign the review.
Is the review investment advice?
No. It's one professional's opinion of your materials. It isn't investment, legal or financial advice, and it isn't an offer to invest.
Can a reviewer invest in my company?
Only after disclosing their interest to you and to RUV Labs. Any conversation after that happens in RUV Labs messages, and RUV Labs takes no part in or fee from any investment.
When am I refunded?
In full if no reviewer is assigned within 72 hours, if the report isn't delivered by the due date, or if you cancel before a reviewer is assigned.
